PMCE were commissioned by Hanley Pepper Consulting Engineers to prepare Traffic & Transport Assessments and Quality Audits for three proposed developments in Stamullen, Co Meath. The three developments were:

  • The Cockhill Road Development (333 residential units)
  • The Silverstream Development Phase 2 (183 residential units)
  • The Delvinridge Development (122 residential units)

The traffic assessment required analysis of the potential traffic impacts associated with the proposed developments on six existing roads and nine existing junctions in the vicinity of Stamullen.

In addition, a capacity assessment was also undertaken on the nearby M1 Junction 7, as it had been identified as a traffic-sensitive location by Meath County Council, to understand the cumulative effects of the proposed residential developments on the junction.

Quality Audits were undertaken, by an independent Quality Audit Team, on the Transportation Elements of the proposed developments in accordance with the requirements of the Design Manual for Urban Roads & Streets (DMURS).
