About Us
PMCE is a firm of committed, highly experienced and professionally qualified engineers. It was established in 2006 by Mr. Peter Monahan, FIEI, Chartered Engineer, and focuses on providing expert independent engineering advice in relation to Road Planning & Design, Road Safety Engineering (Road Safety Audits, Historical Collision Analysis and Road Safety Inspections) and Traffic Analysis & Assessment.
Since establishment we have been involved in a broad range of projects covering all aspects of Road & Transportation related activities for private and public clients. Our growing team has successfully completed appointments in Ireland, the UK, the Middle East (Kuwait & Qatar) and Asia (on behalf of the Asian Development Bank).
PMCE Consultants has completed in excess of 1,500 Road Safety Engineering projects, including:
- Road Design,
- Project Management,
- Road Safety Audits,
- Road Safety Inspections,
- Road Safety Reviews,
- Collision Monitoring Audits,
- General Road Safety Engineering advice, and
- PSDP
In Qatar PMCE has completed in excess of 60 Road Safety Audits on projects, including design stage audits of Expressway & Local Roads Projects and design & pre-opening audits of proposed Work Zone Traffic Diversions and Traffic Management Arrangements.
