PMCE has been appointed by Hyder Consulting to provide road safety engineering services for Project 025 Al Khor Expressway.
Project 025 Al Khor Expressway is one element within the Ashghal Group 5 Expressway Projects. The Al Khor Expressway follows the existing coastal road from its tie-in with the existing road from Lusail to the south, and extends north to where it will join the proposed Al Khor Bypass.

The scheme will consist of approximately 26km of dual 4 lane carriageways, with associated service roads, side roads, interchanges and junctions.
Along the east and west sides of the mainline carriageway service roads will provide connectivity to the surrounding area. A shared footway/cycleway and a fast cycle track are proposed to the east and west of the mainline respectively, adjacent to the service roads.
The scheme also includes space for the proposed Qatar Rail Metro Red Line.
